SCUNTHORPE will be aiming for their first away win in the Cab Direct Championship when they travel to Edinburgh tonight (7.30).
After putting up a highly creditable performance at reigning champions Poole on Wednesday night, the Scorpions make the long trip north.
No.1 Ryan Douglas was in brilliant form at Wimborne Road, scoring a magnificent 18-point-maximum and the Scunthorpe management will be hoping for more at Armadale.
They are also back to full strength tonight, after Michael Palm Toft missed the meeting with the Pirates due to a Danish commitment.
Scorpions skipper Simon Lambert said: “We head north tonight which is a 650-mile round trip for me, but as a team it really is a must win for us!
“Poole was a decent one for me and again the story of the year so far is we got so close yet so far again. We only really had a four man team but when we get all seven firing we will be a force.
“League points are really needed it’s as simple as that! Then we have a run of home meetings which will be good!”
