SIMON Lambert is thrilled with his start to the season.
With confidence flowing through his veins the Boston racer has upped his level of consistency this term feeling better physically and mentally.
Racing at No.2 in a team line-up can often be a tough position to score points, but the 34-year-old is always up for the challenge and showing his worth to the Scorpions and the Cab Direct Championship.
Averaging six points from his first 10 meetings of the campaign, the Scunthorpe skipper is scoring above his 2023 starting average which proves what a great start he has made.

Lambert said: “This is quite possibly the best start to a campaign I have ever had.
“Of course, I had one bad meeting at Birmingham, but I’m only human and if you’d have watched the meeting it certainly wasn’t for the lack of trying.
“We’re one step away from making the BSN Series final so it all goes down to the Glasgow fixture on Friday.
“Many thanks to all the sponsors and supporters for their continued backing on and off track. There’s no time to rest with plenty of meetings coming up.”
