SCUNTHORPE are seeking their first league points in the Cab Direct Championship at Berwick tonight (6.30).
New signings Max Clegg and Nathan Ablitt are set to make their Scorpions debut this evening at Shielfield Park.
Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey believes the key to success in the Cab Direct Championship this season is winning consistently at home and also picking up the aggregate bonus points.
Meanwhile, Berwick have suffered two home defeats already this campaign and they have drafted in local racer Greg Blair to guest in place of the injured Nathan Stoneman.
Scorpions skipper, Simon Lambert said: “The rain-off last night was a blessing in disguise for me because it’s been a busy week for me with racing at Plymouth and Birmingham so I was able to get a good nights sleep.
“Shielfield Park is a racers track and our team is full of racers so we’ll give our all tonight. It will be tough for the two lads making their debuts, but we’ll all to there to help each other.”
