SIMON Lambert reflects on his third appearance in British Final at the National Speedway Stadium on Sunday.
Following a late call-up as an injury replacement for Lewis Kerr, the Boston-born racer scored two points in the showpiece event which was eventually won by Grand Prix star Dan Bewley.
Lambert said: It was a tough and hard meeting, but I really enjoyed it, though. I was fast enough but I was just not making enough starts!
“I was on the pace I didn’t disgrace myself and we move on now to Robbo’s Farewell meeting unless the phone rings before that! All my bikes are ready to go and so am I!
“As always big thanks to all the sponsors as without their help it would be possible to make such a prestige meeting which was a big honour to be part of!”
