SCUNTHORPE make the long trip to Sussex this evening when they take on Eastbourne at Arlington.
Both sides are forced into changes with the Eagles bringing in Zane Keleher to guest for Kyle Newman, who suffered a shoulder injury at Kent on Tuesday.
They also operate rider-replacement for Tom Brennan who races in the European Pairs Final alongside Scorpions’ No.1 Adam Ellis, who is also absent with James Shanes replacing Theo Pijper who took a knock last week.
Scorpions skipper Simon Lambert said:It has been a good week or so since we last rode. I’ve been pretty happy with my away form scoring my average which is good.
“We got four big league points at Birmingham which we need to build on now. We have had a little break before we take on Eastbourne. Despite all my years in racing I have never ridden at Arlington before so it will be an experience.”
