In-Form Lambert Hunting For More

SIMON Lambert wants to continue his great form in the Championship.

The Boston racer has racked up a staggering paid-97 from his last eight meetings for Scunthorpe.

With the Scorpions sitting well outside the play-off picture and only having two league fixtures left it means his only hope of getting more meetings is do some guest bookings.

Lambert has already stamped out rumours he wanted to retire by sending out a message of intent to continue racing in 2020.

He added: “I have been loving life since I moved back to Scunthorpe, I have always loved racing at the Eddie Wright Raceway and I think I have proved that over the last two months.

“I am in really good form at the moment and I really want to keep that going has we head into the crunch point of season. I have scored a lot of points for Scunthorpe recently but with just two meetings left, I am just sitting here wanting for the phone to ring with guest bookings.

“There is plenty of fire left in me and I want to continue that into next season and get a team place in 2020!”
