British Final: Preview

Simon is all set to take part in the British Final at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday (7.30).

With injuries to Adam Ellis and Richie Worrall, the Boston racer has been given an opportunity to take part in the showpiece event after narrowly missing out on qualifying from the semi-final.

Lambert said: “The British Final is the biggest meeting on the domestic calendar in the UK, and I am lucky to be given an opportunity to race in it.

“It is never nice when riders get injured and naturally, I wish Adam Ellis and Richie Worrall all the best on their recovery.

“For me, 2019 has been a rollercoaster year with what happened at Workington before the season had even started. And then getting released by Newcastle and King’s Lynn was a blow, but I am really pleased to be with Scunthorpe now.

“Everything really couldn’t have been possible without all my loyal sponsors – who have stuck by me through thick and thin, particularly this season.”

All the action will be broadcast on BT Sport 1 from 7.30pm.
